General Conditions of Subcontract

The General Conditions of Subcontract has been prepared by CNC for use by domestic contractors, taking into account of Vietnamese construction practice. It greatly inherits the concepts found in the Conditions of Subcontract for Construction which have been prepared by The International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) for use in conjunction with the FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Construction for Building and Engineering Works Designed by the Employer, First Edition 1999, and with the Multilateral Development Bank Harmonised Edition of the FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Construction for Building and Engineering Works Designed by the Employer.

It is worthy noted however that necessary amendments are made to reflect the significant difference between international practice and Vietnam practice context. This General Conditions of Contract is highly recommended for those contractor who enter into a general construction contract arrangement and intends to professionally manage the subcontractor.
